For bikes without a mounting plate: 1. Remove the bracket, long bolt, and washer from the kickstand. 2. Place the kickstand in the middle of the chain stays. 3. Place the bracket on the chain stays. 4. Tighten the bracket to the kickstand using the long bolts and washer with a wrench.
