Back in high school, Fox was my rival. He was a career-obsessed city boy, and I was a small-town theater geek who was more than happy to see him leave for the big city. But now, years later, he’s agreed to join our family on a massive road trip. And it’s clear that he’s not a teenager anymore. As we journey together, camping, hiking, and swimming in the summer heat, I’m getting to know Fox in a way I never have before. I’ve outgrown my acne and glasses, and I’m not afraid to stand up to him, but I’m also finding myself lost in his eyes.

Despite my conflicting feelings, I can’t deny the attraction I feel when he kisses me. I can't decide whether I want to strangle him or pull him into bed, but I know I want to feel his lips on mine again…even though I probably shouldn’t.

As it turns out, Fox has secrets of his own. He’s been through tough times, and I’m starting to see the sensitive side of him that he keeps hidden from the world.
